This photo makes me so jealous! My mama plant just died on me and am now in the process of anxiously raising her 5 orphans, hahah... This is so gorgeous and healthy looking 💕💕

@Scratchycat13 Aww, thank you so much 💚😊 She is my pride and joy! And yes, it has gotten so big and strong! I am raising a couple of babies as well, but they sure take their time getting big.

Looking at all the Chinese Money Plants on GT and yours are tops!!! Any advice on getting them to sprout or make babies?

@cpl721 Youā€™re too kind - thank you! 💚 They should start sprouting little babies by themselves at some point, but you can help them to do so by placing them in light conditions and giving them a bit of fertilizer every now and then.

@Jekatarina so it sit about 18ā€ in front of a south/west facing window, but I donā€™t fertilizers it in the winter. Maybe I should.

@cpl721 Always such a dilemma with fertilizer during winter - some say not to do it and some say to do it as indoor plants donā€™t go into dormancy as they would outside. Initially, I didnā€™t do it, but today I gave all plants a bit (on the back of the fertilizer it says to use it once during winter). Just wait - come Spring they should boom! Many of my Pileas have lost lots of leaves during this winter and they all stand a bit still, but Iā€™m positive they will be back in shape in Spring.

@Jekatarina I agree. For at least the last 40 years Iā€™ve been growing house plants, and now with all the renewed interest in them and the internet there is so much plant info. So like you I hear some say not to so I stoped. Thinking that I will start again. Always made a week solution in winter. I do fertilize my African, and Asian Violets with a week fertilizer every week for 9 months. Spring can not come soon enough! Iā€™m sure your Pileas will be back in shape come Spring.

Finally got around to propagate some Pilea Peperomioides by separating the small ones from the mother plant. Both the mother and babies are doing great 💚 #propagation #pilea #pileapeperomioides #babyplant #indoor #plants #diy #shelf #shelfie #plantshelf #urbanjungle
