Brassica Rapa subsp. Rapa 'Purple Top Milan'

My first sweet corn has germinated. I have sown more white turnips because the first crop were woody because they had bolted. I have also sown what we call turnips and you all call swedes! Bit late but worth a try.

Anything I worth a try 😉

Better luck this time! Hopefully these will be edible. Not holding out a lot of hope as they’ve all bolted.

Thinned the turnips yesterday. Some getting pretty good size.

Turnips liking it too. Nearest square needs thinned out. I grew these from seed direct whereas the other squares were grown in modules first.
