Daphne odora

Covered in flowers and the perfume is overpowering 🌸

I thought I wasn’t getting flowers this year and then spotted this hiding further down the plant. Gorgeous perfume. Just wish there were more flowers 🌸

Love my Daphne, I lost two early on and they’re so expensive I told the third that it was do or die. Hallelujah, 3yrs on and it’s looking good with lots of flowers.

Thank goodness one has turned up trumps Helen. I’d like to see more flowers on mine. Might read up on them. The perfume is lovely @itstillhelen

They’re the hardest things to grow apparently, I cover mine on cold nights just in case.

I neglect mine shamefully Helen. I’ve read they can be prima donnas. @itstillhelen

I gave the first two all my attention, I’ve left this one to its own devices except for covering it from frost.

At last! Planted three years ago and finally showing flowers. Gardening sure teaches you patience.
