Rhubarb gin underway for this year. Still havenāt drunk all of last years. Iām a bit of a lightweight! Thanks to Jacqueline @awomanonabike for her marvellous recipe which never fails 🍸

Do you make rhubarb syrup too Nicola?

I havenāt Jacqueline. It would be very versatile. How do you make it? @awomanonabike

Itās very easy to make but you need to freeze it or bottle it. You canāt make a rhubarb gimlet without it so worth the faff! Hang on a mo and Iāll check the recipeā¦

Combine 250ml water, 200g caster sugar and 250g rhubarb chopped into pieces. Bring to the boil then cook on low for 15-20 mins. Sieve then bottle or freeze the syrup. The sieved rhubarb is gorgeous with yoghurt 😋
