I've always had a garden. I enjoy a challenge! I love the rewards when it all comes together. And I learn something new nearly every day. Perfect šŸŒ»

Hmm. Think this flower needs to come off. Plant confused with all this weather. Temperature is up and down like a yo yo.

Do you make rhubarb syrup too Nicola?

I havenā€™t Jacqueline. It would be very versatile. How do you make it? @awomanonabike

awomanonabike

Itā€™s very easy to make but you need to freeze it or bottle it. You canā€™t make a rhubarb gimlet without it so worth the faff! Hang on a mo and Iā€™ll check the recipeā€¦

Combine 250ml water, 200g caster sugar and 250g rhubarb chopped into pieces. Bring to the boil then cook on low for 15-20 mins. Sieve then bottle or freeze the syrup. The sieved rhubarb is gorgeous with yoghurt 😋
