I leave some sections of applemint in the fall to provide food sources in my garden during the winter months too. #applemint #noweygardens

One of my favorite garden plants and that few have ever heard of or seen is applemint. It grows 3-4" tall with layers of bright green leaves topped with soft light green leaves and a button of flowers. #applemint #mint #fragrant #bee-friendly #pollinators #noweygardens

I've heard of It! Don't have any tho. I have spearmint, peppermint, chocolate, and orange mint. 😊 I use alot of it in my weekly batches of suntea

@lesliecole49 it smells like apples and looks so different than other mints! Great idea with the suntea! I use the stems & flowers in fragrant arrangements for months (great for fall) and I use it in body salt scrubs.

One of #myfavoritescents is from this unique mint. This #applemint grows to 3 feet tall with large bright green lower leaves and topped by frosted green leaves and small white flowers. Dries beautifully for fragrant displays.

Many types of bees 🐝🐝🐝 visiting. I'd like I need to learn more about the different flying insects in this garden. I'm told the big shiny bottomed bee is a wood-burrowing carpenter bee :( uh oh

@jennilm nice looking red admiral butterfly. I like the underside too, it is so patriotic.
