#cannalily #cannalily-seeds #seedpods 😁 They're ready! I just roll the pod around in my hands to dislodge the seeds, then blow away the chaff. Simple!

Yey love these still waiting for mine hoping they've survived ok 😄
@Keely didn't expect mine to, so I started more seeds to plant out. Now I'll have several! 😁

#canna #Lily babies... Loving this weather!
What type of canna are these?
@Acetaker same as the others, but don't know the color. I'm assuming orange.
Cool! Do u have the parent plant and in full sun?
@Acetaker I do not have the parent plant... I "borrowed" (aka stole) these seeds from a garden outside a doctor's office. Lol. I couldn't stand it... They were right there! They are in full sun, and happier outside than inside. I rotted out my first batch. They're much happier outside germinating.
Yes they are that's where mine r. I still have only seen 1 out of 6 so I guess that's good unless they pop up later.. lol!
@Acetaker that's how my first batch was... Only three out of dozen germinated... And I ended up killing one seedling by over watering. I kept one and gave one away. It's my little pride and joy in the rock garden. :)
@cyndi look at the one on the right. Kinda looks like your seedling? Reminds me of corn.

What kind of canna is this one?
@Acetaker I don't know... I think it was orange. It was another pod of seeds I found on a walk last year. ;-)
I'm excited to see what they r now..too!😮😍
#cannalily #cannalily-seeds #seeds ❤️ I've had great success germinating these seeds. Use #scarification by rubbing the seed across sandpaper until you've reached the white part of the seed. You only need one tiny little scratch in the seed to get it to absorb water and germinate. ❤️ I love this plant because it goes from this tiny seed to big beautiful blooms in one year!
Great tip! 😀
Be careful. Lol. You'll go from 20 to 200. Lol. Love my cannas.
@high Annie I'm at about six so far. 😉
