It's a good thing I didn't take a before picture. But as a side note, the wind helped my decision. If I didn't chop it, it would have snapped in half. Crazy eight foot tall roses!

That is the longest cane, free standing, I ever can recall seeing. Props to you though, seems roses are easy or just a b*$#!. Had to let many (FROM SEED) wither from issues of recent. So, I prepare for propagating for post-planting, probably.

@cyndi strangely, none of my roses have scent. Which makes me less fond of them. Lol. The honeysuckle and alyssum make up for that... 💕
