Thank you @errolly I'm not sure if something is wrong with the tulip. Last year it was tall this year it bloomed early and short.

Sorry Vannary can't offer any advice I don't grow them where I live as my climate isn't suitable I wondered if the stem would be longer as it opened. I wonder if it is to do with the warmer winter this year not sure where you are.

@errolly it could be just me 😂. We get very cold winter. I don't think it will go much taller.

@brightcolours these are new bulbs. I have other tulips from previous year I didn't dig it out but they are growing to normal size.
