Look Jane I have chocolate soldiers! So small I almost missed them @pelly
Oh wow, that's so sweet Joan. I've just checked mine and there are no flowers yet 🥰
I bought one this year after years of trying to grow them from seed - not flowering yet. 💚🤎
@Auricula I grew these from seed 3-4 years ago. The plants were always small and didn’t flower. This year two of them have flowers! Very small and delicate
I just couldn’t get mine to germinate Joan🤷♀️
Obviously a tricky plant Elise @Auricula

That's beautiful Joan, I've never had any luck with aquilegias from seed before so this has made me more determined than ever to pull it off this time. Thanks for posting 🍫💂👍
Very pretty Joan, it’s such a delicate looking flower 💚🤎
And so small Richard @richard.spicer.7906

Hurrah! At last flowers on this pretty little aquilegia. Only taken two and a half years @richard.spicer.7906
Yay 🍫🍫🍫 I got cseeds for these with my garden news, I'm definitely going to do them 👍
They’ve been really tricky Jane, came from seed ok but all last year they really sulked! So pleased to see some come up again in the ground , am really hopeful for more flowers on the other ones too 🤞🤞@pelly
I don't usually do well with aquilegias, I'm hoping these take. I'm looking forward to seeing yours when they flower 😍
Yay! At last 😄 👏🏼👏🏼 certainly need some patience when growing these don’t you Joan? Glad to see yours are starting to flower. I’ll have to go check mine.
So far five plants have reappeared Richard, but only one has buds. Still excited though @richard.spicer.7906
@pelly this flower is more chocolate in colour. I’ve got three other plants with no sign of flowers again
#brown
I thought I had two or three plants, they weren't doing very well in the ground so I decided to put them in a pot but there was actually only one there. They're such frustrating plants. The one I got looks much healthier now though so 🤞
That’s lovely….I’m not familiar with that one…🤎💛
