A great feature plant, disappears completely in winter, and emerges in spring out of a very alien looking form!

Is this an edible rhubarb? I have "normal" ones and every week or two I bring in 10-15 stems and my wife makes a simple compote.... Which is gone in a day 😊

I'm sure it's not, plus it has very sharp small spikes on the stems......at the end of the day, you can't beat good old British rhubarb!😄
