Hey Carla! Thank you for the welcome and I have just joined GT yesterday. Glad to be in good company. As far as the avocado status: Constantly keep pit under water at all times and change the water every two days. In 2 weeks, pit will split skin and carefully peel skin off to expose innards. In 4-8 weeks: Root and stem will grow on it's way to a tree. Continually water it and watch it grow! Good luck! #joy4toddpropagation, #joy4
