Is it Bergonia or Bergenia? I also might remove the 2 biggest leaves

Well do or die 🤔 might be worth cutting the leaves in half to reduce the energy going in to them and not possible root production and then whehey you can do some more leave cuttings 🙂 you'll have enough to start sharing at this rate 🙏

@RenataJegereva I'm sure @icedance will correct me if I err but I looked it on the internet and it said to divide a leaf into 2 or 3,put into a pot containing potting compost and perlite water and put a bag over it basically. I've put 2 cuttings in a 3in pot and fixed a poly bag over it with an elastic band - Heath Robinson maybe 😀

No correction needed 👍although the stem cuttings should be fine without the poly bag as they may get a bit sweaty and rot at this time of year ? this is more gut instinct than anything else 🙂

Wow! So excited. I'll try cuttings tomorrow! Bought a dozen of begonia tubers this year and they all (after soaking overnight, etc., etc., etc.), rotted away. Really keen to multiply the only one I have alive! 🙂 I usually only "scavenge" for rescue plants: nearly dead sales, carboots, etc. and having paid for a dozen of begonias to only get one, I am super-keen to try getting the best out of it, thanks for the advice! 🙂
