Aegopodium podagraria

Please help me identify this invasive weed. It seems to be taking over my garden...

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news John but this is ground elder 😱 It is a perennial weed that you can only get rid of by carefully digging it out making sure you don’t break off any of the roots... #groundelder

I cleared a hole area and it till came back so I have been painting weed killer on the leaves, but there are a lot to get rid of. Best of luck John 🥴 @jspeaksy

I’m probably unusual as I actually find it quite satisfying to sit and dig it out 🤷‍♀️ If it’s anywhere near your plants you may have to dig them up, remove the white roots of the ground elder and then replant them. As Sue said ⬆️ you can use weed killer but I don’t @suerichards PS Don’t forget to put @ and then the person’s name so they get notified that you have replied to them 😃
