This is another “heritage” plant. This is only 2nd generation. I essentially planted it and let it go. It currently stands over 7ft tall and is about 5ft wide. I have three of these along the front of the house and they are all comparable in size. I will most likely cut them back after their second bloom in the fall. The blooms were so plentiful this year the branches were almost touching the ground from the weight! 🥰
@emch I have no idea! 🥴 I pretty much leave them alone once they’re in the ground and watered for about two weeks. I cut them back every few years or so if I feel like it. I do dump my dishwater around them in the summer. The dish soap helps with bugs and the food particles give some nutrients maybe. That’s what my Mamaw and my aunt did so it must be good. 🥰😂
