This guy is so big I had to take it out of the planter lol just wish it would hurry up and bloom!! It is normally covered with flowers and now it is triple he size from last year!!!
@cyndi I had separated this guy late and it is actually two next to each other under some rocks... I ran out of baskets for the water plants, didn't plant for this guy tripling in size in just one year
@cyndi that is actually a neat idea!! I could do like little fountain like spots all around the yard maybe even where they waterfall into each other all along the fence line!!!! Ooh then into my larger pond???
@mrsmitch here is one of them
@Kalaari01 different looking foliage. Do u have others? I just found a variegated one.
@mrsmitch http://www.americanmeadows.com/perennials/iris/louisiana-iris-black-gamecock This is one of the sites about them. It is a marsh plant but it does perfectly fine with the base of the plant actually in the water as they absolutely love being in the pond with my fish!
@Kalaari01 thanks!

This fella absolutely loves my pond. So much that in just 2 years he is about 10 times the original size at least!! This is one of the many clumps I broke him a part to and I am really anxious to see the blooms this year!!
This guy is such a beauty and this plant has 6 more blooms about to open now too!!
