Why the name bat plant, do bats like it for something?🤗

That bud is quite small Michelle but a big flower appears with whiskers the petals come in black or white and they look like bats although my daughter thinks they look like aliens 😂😂 I have a pic of them in my posts @purplebird

OK, thanks for explaining. Will love to see this one bloom. I looked through some of you posts but don't recall anything like that. Will have to take some time to look farther, later, sounds neat! Hope your daughter isn't scared by aliens!🤗
