@kathy And what better view to look out at first thing in the morning. Before I retired I worked in the city and for the last 12 years I lived in my city flat for 5 days & came home here at weekends. I never bothered to open the blinds in the morning in the flat as all you could see was a concrete jungle. We did have a garden behind but it was shared & really boring. It was heaven to come home on Friday night but hell to go back again for work. 👍🏻

@kathy I live in NE Scotland North of Aberdeen in a semi rural setting just half a mile from nearest village but have had this property for 30 years I bought a flat in Aberdeen in 1995 because was fed up wasting hours sitting in traffic queues for hours every day. Aberdeen being the oil capital of Europe is a nightmare for travel. It was a struggle trying to keep both properties going & a demanding job but worth it in the end. I hated staying in the flat felt like a caged tiger.🐯
