Canna all bagged now for storage but still need plant tags

@KBE I’m cutting up #milkcarton containers right now for #plantlabels 😉

I would have wanted to save some calla lilies frim my garden, but wasnt sure if they would survive in my garage. Where do you store the pots? At what temperature? Did you save the bulbs from your garden or purchased new ones?

I cut up old blinds but use what ever I can too

My canna. They grew a little this winter but today I hope to cut them all back and make sure their cans have a plant tag in them

Got them done. They will sit under that table until my last frost date which is usually around April 19th depending on the weather they will go to my GPS. Aka glorified potting shed which is my little fiberglass greenhouse

Do you water them a little over winter, or does the bags keep them moist enough till spring? I have mine in an outhouse at the moment and trying to keep the soil damp and not dry out.

No. I stop watering the cannas when I brought them indoors on the fall. The pots at dry and I only put the bags on them to contain any potting soil that woul escape through the bottom of the cans through the pot holes

I bring these indoors shortly before the fall frost. They stay in their pots until pot bound

This one is the only one I let keep growing because it had room to stand

I need to prune all of the ones that are growing now.
