@columbiariver @awomanonabike it’s a beautiful looking thing and the leaves are big too! Don’t get to see much of the colour change as a late frost usually hits it hard

How odd 🤔 Mine hasn’t ever been affected by the frost… It grows against the house so must be being protected.

@hkyfvr finally a bad weather that misses you 🥳 it’s such a lovely vine but gets damaged by frost every year. Think it may need to grow up against the house for some extra warmth 🤔

That sounds like a good idea Kerry. Our house really heats the plants up especially the red brick on the front which gets afternoon sun. A little too hot in the summer. 🥵

@hkyfvr isn’t that just the problem 😜 some plants need to be moved around the garden throughout the year 😂 a little more difficult when they’re climbing plants 🥺

I have had to move plants to pots to keep them from being decimated. Hiding plants from slugs is not a game I enjoy. Moving climbing plants would be a chore. Easier to buy a new one. 🤔🤦‍♀️

@hkyfvr slugs really are the bane of a gardeners life 😡 think I prefer that idea, replace rather than relocate 😛
