Cataloging. Not even close to looking like the photos they use to sell it 😂😂😂 #dahlia #dahlia-rancho
It's such a beautiful color! 💘😍
This seems to be coming a rather common complaint over the last few years. It really isn’t good enough 😡
It really seems to be a lucky dip these days…don’t know why 🤷♀️
I think it is beautiful Kerry. Love the curly petals and the touches of pink 💛💗
@ShelleySnyder @pelly @italydiva @gjones @hkyfvr thank you all 😊 it’s a great looking dahlia, just the second time I’ve bought it and both times it’s not looked like it’s supposed to. Still, I had a look online and on Instagram and seems it’s not too different to the ‘real’ photos 🧐 these online shops can be very misleading 😐
Very welcome! 💘😍
Always welcome Kerry. I am still waiting on my Breck’s dahlias to bloom so I know what they are. At least they are in bud. 🤨🤞🤞
It’s not just the online shops, I’ve had the same happen with bulbs and tubers from Garden Centres. It really is so very frustrating 😡
@hkyfvr hopefully it won’t be long til you find out 😛 they always seem to take longer when you’re waiting on them 😜
@pelly it really is 😒 you can forgive the odd mistake but it’s such a regular thing now 😤
They certainly do take a long time. They have lots of foliage but I find the first year I never get many blooms. Will lift them and store overwinter and maybe next year they will bloom their socks off. 🤞🤞🤞😍

Amazing collage. Beautiful dahlias. 😍😍
Fabulous Kerry 💛🧡
Lovely dahlias Kerry! @columbiariver - border dahlias are normal size dahlias that are usually greater than 60cm in height at least. They are perennial and are the ones you tend to buy as dry tubers. Whereas 'bedding' dahlias are typically less than 60cm in height, often used in bedding arrangements and don’t always form a big enough tuber at end of year to survive the winter so are often grown as annuals (although botanically they are perennial if given a long season to form their tuber…)
