Fabulous fuchsias 🤩👍
My fuchsias haven’t had as good a year as last year, I think!
@cyndi thanks Cyndi 😀
@jeatacake thank you Jeff 😃
@bluefox23 mine either. They didn’t get started til very late and look nowhere near as good as last year 😐
Yes mine have been late starting to actually
@gjones thank you Katy 😁 one of my favourite fuchsias. The red/pink veining is so lovely ❤️
@bluefox23 I blame the late frost for it. That killed off all the new growth they put on so had to start over very late on ☹️
One of mine hasn't even flowered but I don't think it likes where it is anymore!
@bluefox23 mine seem to be better for being in the shade but are still struggling a little. Where do you have your unhappy one?
It's in a trough but think it's been overcrowded by dianthus, sweet Williams and my primroses. It's probably run out of nutrients as I've not touched that trough for a few years. The cutting I took from it has grown quicker in 6 months than the parent plant has in several years!
@bluefox23 least you have a thriving cutting. Need to learn how to take cuttings myself 😜 never hurts to have backups - could have cloned Princess Charlotte 🤦🏻♀️

I'm a bit young to remember swingtime (honestly!) but these are fabulous 💃
Woohooligans!! Love this one!💘😍
Nice choice Kerry I like this one
@jeatacake I don’t even know what it is so I have no choice but to believe you 😛 they’re my favourite, came back better than I expected too 😁
@gjones thank you Katy 😁 they made a surprise comeback 😍
@ShelleySnyder they’re little cuties aren’t they 😍
@alan1111 thanks Alan 😄 the red/white combo is quite striking 😍
I agree Kerry I have one the same colours but a smaller flower
@alan1111 that one sounds nice. Love small fuchsia flowers. Look more elegant
They are cuties Kerry!💘😍
It's a slow grower I have it four years and it's only up to my knees It was still in full flower on the first of January
I'll beleive you too 😉 It was something my grandma told me about 😁 Its looking fabulous though 👌

Finally some fuchsias 😍
Look how lovely! 💗💗💗
@PunkyKy they seem so far behind this year. Was beginning to wonder if they’d come back at all 😂
The weather seems a little different this year though Kerry. Idk what it, but it does. So glad they came back though!💗
@PunkyKy it’s done some strange things to plants. Mutant growers, changing colours, messing with flowering times. It’s insanity! But think it’s something we will all have to get used to now. Damn climate change 😜
It's funny how our gardens are all so different isn't it - my fuchsias have been out for several weeks and are so much happier than in last year's heat. Glad yours have flowered and hope you get lots of blooms too!
So pretty! I had my first fuchsia this year but it died last week from the extreme heat. It had been in the shade and watered daily but it couldn’t handle the heat. It was a shadow dancer.
Interesting @lilybee my fuchsias have not done as well this year. Smaller flowers and just not quite as profuse as last year.
I moved most of mine to shady positions last year Alison after the heatwave. 🙂 @bluefox23
I know girl! Lol 😂☔☀️⛈🌪🌫🌬🌤🌀❄☃️☄🌊
@lilybee fascinates me how they vary but means we all have differed things going on at any time 😁 must admit they’re looking happier for being in mostly cooler temperatures 😂 thanks Sue, and you too ☺️
@ecoami I’m sorry to hear that Ami ☹️ they’re gorgeous ones too! Hope you’ll try them again next year 😊 same happened with a couple of mine last year so I moved all of them into full shade and thankfully it seemed to do the trick. But maybe the lack of sunlight it what’s delayed them flowering this year 😜

I think it’s a tie between this one and the other one I didn’t know that had some with white in the flower. Just beautiful 🤗😊💕
@terrimclaughlin think this one is called snowcat. @gjones id’d it for me. It’s a fitting name 😋
@gjones thank you 😄

@cyndi thanks Cyndi ☺️ they’re still going strong. My deck is covered in fuchsias, little else is flowering now 😟
This is so cool!!!! I've never heard of or seen any before.
@ktreers thanks 😊 they’re easy plants to grow and really and come in so many colours, some climbers and some trail, some have giant flowers too. Should look out for them 😁
Beautiful Kerry @kez001uk
Beautiful ❤️
This one's lovely Kerry. @kez001uk
@gjones thank you 😁 they’ve done so well
@vinny3000 thanks Gary ☺️
@lovemygarden65 thank you Marilyn 😊
@lilybee thanks Sue 🙂 hope I can get it through winter 🤞🏻
I used to grow lots of fuchsias but as they need winter protection l grow just a few of them.
@jasabe I lost a lot last year too because I didn’t protect them 😞 hopefully will remember to this year 🤞🏻 they’re such gorgeous plants

@gjones it’s gone even more nuts! I thought the wind would wreck it but only lost a couple of flowers 😍
@gjones thank you 😊
They’re lovely, I’ve had hardly any flowers on mine this year, I don’t know if it was the extreme heat that stopped them 🤔🤔
That looks fab! So many blooms! 🌸
Beautiful fuchsia Kerry - so many flowers and still lots of buds too. @kez001uk
@pelly thanks Jane ☺️ sorry to hear yours didn’t flower much 😔 since I moved mine into full shade this year they have done so well, even through the heatwave. Think that slowed down a lot of fuchsias
@bluefox23 thanks Alison 😁
@lilybee thank you Sue 😊 it’s really gone wild 😂
I’ll have to remember that next year Kerry, thank you @kez001uk 👍👍
@pelly hope it gets you a few more flowers 😁

@cyndi me too, just left it to do as it wants 😆
It looks great! So many buds!
@ublaszko the flowers are giants but didn’t think the plant was supposed to be 🤣
Looks like it's a nice big pot so plenty more room to grow! 💕
You have a great fuchsia collection. All very beautiful 😍
