Morning everyone! My #fuchsia cuttings are doing really well. I took them from my late mums garden in Brighton and they survived a 12 hour car journey in 36 degree heat wrapped in some damp towel and a plastic bag before I could pot them up. They are super strong plants! #fuchsiafriday
Morning Richard, I took 2 Fuschia plants away from my Mums in March, they had been outside in tubs, it was -4 the day I took them and the winter had been bad. They have been lovely this summer, yours will be too 😊
I've got three new cuttings I took a few weeks ago. I find they are so easy to grow from cuttings and very tolerant. Don't forget to pinch them out to make them bushier. I didn't do that the first time I took a cutting! Now I do and I can see the difference! 😂😊
Hello Richard. I took some hardy fuchsia cuttings when l stayed in Dublin two years ago. I put them in pots and covered with plastic bags. Some of them rooted easily.
Well maybe your mom is helping it to grow for you! I’m sorry for your lose🙏😢 I’m sure it’ll make it and how special that’ll be. Keep us updated!! I’m guessing u have a greenhouse or room for them over the winter. I love the fuschia it’s one of my favorites but it’s too hot here. Good luck my friend 😊💕
