Nice colour for a change 👌🏼

@wagsmomthompsonbtinternetcom it really is so dark, was hard to get a semi-decent photo 😜 but the back is yellow! Such a strange one 😅

@gjones wasn’t expecting such deep colours from this mix but it’s beautiful. Wish I’d grown some proper yellow ones to go with it 😐

I'm growing smaller versions of it from seeds. I think they will be in different colors.

Hi, @kez001uk, l planted 10 seeds and 8 germinated. I didn't expect that many would grow, so l have to make space in my patio. I'm sharing half of it. The taller one is about 2 feet. I'll take some photos.

@newbud they do seem to have a high germination rate which means you can sometimes be overrun with sunflowers 😂 not a bad problem to have 😛 I’ll keep a look out for your photos 😁

Well, you are right. Since l was running out of space, l gave the rest of the seeds in the package to a friend. She has a garden, full of space. We don't get frost here in So. California unless it's in the mountains, so she would get sunflowers growing even this late in the season. I'm curious to see what colors of sunflowers l'll get. I'll let you know soon. 😁😄

@newbud how lucky you are to not get frosts. Wish that were the case here but I expect they’ll start soon 😔 I will be following your sunflower progress 😁

Fine. I'm making you my guide for growing sunflowers. I've never done this before. 😁😄 We get brush fires because of the wind and warm temperature. Rain starts in the winter time, from January to March, with snow in the mountains.

@newbud I’ll be happy to help where I can 😁 so long as they are kept well watered they’ll look after themselves mostly 🌻 you have a much more varied climate than I thought! Saw the awful fires you had a while back. They were devastating 😔 but snow is always welcome 😅

Hi Kerry been in hospital im afraid major back spasms but its improving now . Unfortunately the garden has suffered a bit as a consequence but to he honest the weather has been up and down so could of been much worse . Anyway i plough on happy days lol @kez001uk
