To be honest, I see hostas mostly as slug fodder but I started to notice hosta flowers last year and I'm kinda in love with them! And of course they come in purple 😆😆😆

@gjones it may be blooming but it’s no bigger than yours 😂 barely a leaf in sight, just mostly a flower stalk 🤷🏻‍♀️ good that yours is still fighting back after you thought you’d lost it ☺️

@jeatacake this one didn’t flower before so big entirely sure it’s supposed to have buds all up the stem. The white feather one flowered very differently 🤪

It is a bit unusual. Maybe it's had a bit of Chernobyl fallout, like my strange calendula? 😲

@terrimclaughlin mine didn’t do so well because I had them in the sun. This didn’t grow much at all

@gjones exactly the same as I did! And the one I had in part sun died too. Maybe this year the heat was too much 😕

They're definitely shade plants. They need a lot of moisture to support those big leaves. And they will scorch in hot sun @gjones @terrimclaughlin
