Plantain Lily 'Fire and Ice'

Hosta are popular perennials for shady areas. Grown for their architectual qualities and sumptuous foliage topped with lily-like blooms. The flowers appear in mid-summer. Hosta go completely dormant in the autumn, and the dying foliage can be removed any time before mid-spring. Easily divided in either spring or autumn. 'Fire and Ice' sports spikes of dainty pink flowers in mid-summer. Bottle green funnel like leaves with a splash of pure white at the centre.
