FINALLY!.....She looks happy! I finally got the planter to drain well and added some #diatomaceousearth to get rid of the ants. She's got her color back!!! #companionplanting with #dustymiller and a #koreanfern

@ShelleySnyder You were right. 👀 I drained the water in her saucer and turned her a little so the fern can absorb more of the sun. 🌞 She's loving life again!

I trimmed her down some after taking this picture but my "clearance" #PersianShield doesn't like this location on the front porch or is taking too much sun. I don't know because the other one is doing well along with the #DustyMiller and the #Koreanfern

That's what mine looks like when it's getting to much sun, also be careful not to over water💘😍

Move it and just pinch it back to the good looking part and it will be even more bushy!💘😍

@ShelleySnyder This is the one on the front porch. I understand. She's fading in color but the fern appears to be doing well. I can't lift the planter so I just hope she holds on until John gets home on Monday.

She's doing better on the back porch than her twin on the front porch. I love how the Dusty Miller brings it all together!
