@kimguy while I am far from an expert it looks to be too wet. If you have new moss or bark with charcoal repot it but don't pack the moss in tight it crowds out the roots. A good resource for orchids is the American orchid society, there are also some good videos on u tube. Hope this helps. Keep in mind you must water sparingly or the root will rot.

I've never had much interest in them but since they are now my responsibility, I must try to do right by them. I watched more u- tube than I cared to tonight.😒 @ShelleySnyder. @ripjuju @gjones

p. allen smith has excellent video on orchids. mine is in west window new blooms comming on. do not pack moss or bark will rot. 1/4 cup rain water each week. occasional tepid shower to dust. good luck.

Thanks Laura, I was just considering how to repot, so I pulled out a clear container and patially filled it with black rock. How often should I change the water? @columbiariver
