Actually Kris I think I've spied a little black berry there and of that is the case, this is Ophiopogon planiscapus 'Niger' which is a clump forming and spreading plant resembling a grass. It's also called Black Mondo Grass but isn't a grass!

Love black grass. Managed to get a small piece from my sister. Hoping it spreads quickly!

Iv planted it in 4 areas, one piece has little pink flowers on sweet!

Yes after a few probably even Black grass might be a problem too!!!
