@columbiariver I think he airlayered a plant. You knick the branch near a leaf node and wrap soil or sphagnum moss around that area and seal with syran wrap. After a month or two you'll see roots. Then you can cut off below where you wrapped and you now have a duplicate plant. 😁 Correct me if I'm wrong anywhere, @Kuhnjuice I've never tried it, just read about it.

@jennlamaye It took about 7 weeks till I was happy with the way the root system looked before I cut it off from the parent plant.
