Did some more harvesting today and collected a few sago palm saplings

What r u going to do with all these😁

@Acetaker selling a few and giving most as gifts to family and friends

Cool! I'd not seen this done B4. How do u do it?

@Acetaker Find a female sago that's mature with pups (suckers) and dig them up without damaging the root system too much. Transplant into really good medium. Not much to it

Repotted her today😆 she looks beautiful and she was started from a seed about 7yrs ago

My first post says 9 but it's been 7 now that I think about it

Beautiful palm! I received your question on my Rose that.

Beautiful palm! I received your question on my Rose. I bought a couple of climbers at Lowes a couple of years ago and it did not say on the tag what kind they were. That is a new bud that you are looking at and when they open up, they are large and beautiful! And there are always tons of buds!

Sago palms I started from seeds about 9 years ago I'll post a picture of what one looks like now.

How big are the seeds? #sagopalm #grownfromseed #palm

KariSamuel they are fairly large about the size of a walnut
It's that time of year so I went out and collected a few sago palm seeds. They all sunk in water so I know their all good seeds😆
