@kyleleonard - does that smell as heavenly as the flowers appear they would?
I get no scent from it! But I don't really smell many scents in my garden. Maybe it's my nose? 👃🏼 @KariSamuel
I would miss my SNIFFER not working! @kyleleonard
Beautiful 👌🏼👍🏼
@kyleleonard Pretty, so dainty:)
So pretty 😍
Love this 👍

My best flowerer of 2016 - thousands of them! #white
Beauty 👏😊💕
Gorgeous 💛👍
Simply beautiful.
@kyleleonard mine has not flowered this year any idea why?
@KatieCat - no, sorry. I don't give it any special treatment. I prune it throughout the year as it gets higher than the support aid - which hasn't stopped it flowering
I can smell them from here Kyle lol I love them they are fab! 💕😍 @kyleleonard
Waaw!
Does anyone know how to take seed from this or if they even set seed? @justin @KatieCat @lovemygarden65 @mikethegardener @donnaandrew
Hi Kyle, propagate by semi-ripe cuttings in summer (RHS gardeners encyclopedia of plants &flowers) no mention of seeds. Hope this helps.
Sorry never seen any seeds@kyleleonard
Thanks @donnaandrew! Might try tomorrow and thanks @KatieCat

#TBT this is from 2012. My old bed frame from my teens, now covered in my Jasmine. Probably the best bit of upcycling I've done 🌞 check my other photos for this plant to see the progress over the past 4 years
How clever! What a great idea 😄😄
Lovely covered in flowers ☺
Holy cow. Just looked back over these pics! I didn't know jasmine was a vine!

Morning 🐝 out of focus which is a shame
Can smell it from here! Beautiful I bet!
@kyleleonard solanum jasminoides album or potato vine
@Christos - do these produce seeds?
@kyleleonard Mature plants with the right conditions can produce seed pods that resemble miniature green beans.

This has produced hundreds, if not a thousand+ flowers this year. Completely covered.

The show piece of the garden - 5 years ago this was an empty bed frame, now it's even good enough for birds to make nests to have their young! Proud of this part of the garden

Baby Robins in there somewhere. Starting to fill out a bit again, tying all stray stems in
Looks lush 😀
I had a robin nest in mine too. Couldn't use the backdoor for weeks to avoid disturbing them. I reckon this is Trachelospermum jasminoides though (star jasmine) rather than the true jasmine (Jasminum officinale). It has simple evergreen leaves, not the compound (ferny looking) deciduous leaves of Jasminum.
@petecross - thanks! I'll investigate later. I actually bought this which came with a tag (don't have anymore as it was 2012) and it's where I got the variety name from
@petecross - would you recommend me shaping it now? It's growing a bit out of control and doesn't look very good
Yes, I think you'd get away with it any time while it's actively growing. I tend to prune any unruly bits on mine in the summer.
It gets shoots that go straight up into the air. I'll post an updated photo tomorrow once I've seen what it's like. Cheers @petecross!

The bed frame acting as a trellis
Fantastic 😀
I bet this smells lovely when it's all in bloom. #kyleleonard
It does @pennylynn - it's the worst the white fly have been on it though - don't think there was any last year
It's the warm damp winter @kylelonard. Nothing has died off. I'm fighting an army of slugs and snails at the moment.
Nature's little beasties are certainly in abundance lately @kyleleonard , @pennylynn im currently trying to keep the 🐌 at bay so feel your pain 😫
Also love the jasnine on your recycled trellis @kyleleonard 👍
Wow🙌🏻
This is fabulous 🌿 so clever 🌳 Well Done 🙌 @kyleleonard

This is growing against one of our garden fences - growing up an old metal bed frame which has been there since 2012. In summer it's covered in little white flowers
It's beautiful Kyle. Is it easy to grow and will it grow in a pot?
@sukipop - hello! It's a climber, so don't think it would grow in a pot without a trellis or frame for it to grow up
Thanks Kyle. I didn't realize on my last post that there were one or two little surprises hidden in the pl
The plant this
Keep sending without meaning to😠😠. This was a lovely thing to see as they are one of my favourites. They must have a nest nearby 🐣🐣🐥 you will have so much birdsong in the morning, just beautiful 😊
And the old, woody stems removed to help improve the air circulation and general look
#kyleleonard iv planted cuttings from a rose bush it's grown a good size and healthy looking but it's not flowering have you got any ideas?
