@cyndi I love my crested cockscomb! Haha & I love that they look like 🧠! I am very attracted to unusual looking plants & I think this one fits the bill 😙👌I love the texture too & I did save seed from this year. You were right- they produce A LOT of seed!!!

@anettea It is cool 🙏 I love it! was hoping it would grow a little bigger this year so it would look even more 🧠 like! I think I’ll try sowing them earlier next year 🤔

@kypie8 I remember my grandmother had this plant in her garden 😊 she kept one of these inside her house as a houseplant 🪴but the flowers always looked more like a 🌲 than a 🧠 😂 mm maybe it will help to sow them earlier next year 🥰

@anettea ☺️ Haha I just learned this but apparently there are 3 main types of Celosia- “Plumed”, “Spiked” & “Crested” (👆Cockscomb👆) I think your Grandma may have had the Plumed or Spiked Celosia

@anettea I used to be on the GrowIt! app but it is shutting down by the end of this month & that is how I found GardenTags. GrowIt! was a great app but I really like this app too 💕
