@columbiariver I leave them for the birds. They bring in all kinds of birds. I really enjoy this shrub. I have black elderberries too. I try to beat the birds to those berries. I make jam with them if I can get enough berries. Those birds are pretty quick.
@columbiariver The red elderberries were planted by the birds and I moved them into a hedge. The black ones I planted. They are beautiful when they flower.
