Help me identify this plant
Hello Rita 👋 Thank you for posting what we hope will be the first of many photos. 👏
You can find other like-minded gardeners by tapping on Discover and then "Popular" or "Recommended". There you will see other great photos of plants and gardens and you can of course “follow” anyone that you see there should you like to do so!
Should you ever need to reply to a message in your feed or just want to say 'hello', simply @username an individual i.e. @teamgardentags and that person will get an alert in their profile. Really hope this is helpful and you enjoy using GT! 😃
Thanks also for asking us to help identify your plant #PlantID. Fellow GT'ers are you able to help Rita? @PlantDoctor @David @barbaramatthews @justin @richard.spicer.7906 @thedanielrichards @Garyg @linfoster @joanboston @gardening_greek @tiggrx @kathy
@ kills everything I am not a gardener but was given this as a gift two years ago! Do I need to repot?
Sure its an Orchid, the one that come out this time of year
Orchids like being overcrowded. If it's flowering every year I would leave it alone. Do you fertilise it?
#PlantID_Orchid
Phaleonopsis orchid. Don't repot these babies until they are busting out of the pot, a trick I use is to get some soluble orchid food, mix it up and freeze it in ice trays. Once a week give it a cube as a treat 😊
What about the things that are outside the pot?
@lancar just a tip, to get someone's attention (like to ask a question or reply) put an @ symbol before their name ☺ eg, @stevie @brightcolours
