In southern Ontario. Mostly indoor plants for now but I have dreams of a big outdoor garden one day!

After a one week vacation I have one casualty. Not too bad for a new plant mom. Not bad at all. Well, it's bad for this poor pom. It's all up to his brother now. #survivalofthefittest #weakestlink #lonesurvivor

The last 2 survivors. They are in my greenhouse growing slowly. Come on spring! #grownfromseed #pomegranate #experiment #pleasedontdie #whywontyougrow #survivors #seedling

And another one kicks it. No clue why. It was in the seedling dome growing merrily and then one day it just died. And then there were two. #grownfromseed #pomegranate #seedling #anotheronebitesthedust #itdied #dead #why

This one is in the seedling dome. It's been here since it popped late. 3 of 3. #grownfromseed #pomegranate #seedling

I need to plant a pomegranate tree. Pomegranates are expensive here

This one has been in the greenhouse the whole time. It is the farthest along. 1 of 3 #grownfromseed #seedling #pomegranate

So it died. That's it in the background. I have no idea why. Down to 3 now! #pomegranate #seedling #grownfromseed #survivor

One of my poms I sprouted from seeds from a grocery store pomegranate. I'm down to 4 and they are growing the slowwwwwest. #pomegranate #grownfromseed #seedling

Congratulations on a successful germination. What is your advice?

Patience! And consistency. The other ones died because I tried to rush them by putting them under grow lights (they fried) or I forgot them for one day and they dried out. The ones that lived are under domes and I check on them twice a day
