Chamaerops humilis

Looking for some advice please. Do I wrap these for winter? Fleece or/and waterproof bag? Or can I keep in the summer house unwrapped? I presume they won't need watering until Spring? #foliage

Hi Lisa, as of yet I haven't done anything with mine. If it gets really cold I will be packing the centre of the palm with straw tieing the leaves around it and covering with some fleece. I would imagine a frost free place would be just as suitable but mine is in the ground ☺

Don't wrap the plant itself with plastic or bubblewrap but you could put some bubble wrap around the pot to keep it cosy

I was a bit wary of water gathering in the bubble wrap so won't use. Thanks, that's great advice Julie @vec
