Hi Lee, It’s a hardy perennial that often gets attacked by sawfly but it doesn’t do it any harm. Tolerates just about any conditions too. Spreads by rhizomes but not quickly. PS Don’t forget if you want someone to know you have replied to them ⬆️ you need to tag them like this @euphorbia @lydiastirling

It’s a Sedum. Your friend should cut off all the dead stalks so that the new growth can flourish @leebe 👍
