8/7/2020 I'm really enjoying how the #string-of-pearls has filled out. It's been tough to get a good photo during the day, though since it's right in front of the window.

They are a little pointed kind of like the beads. What do u think

@heatherdirtyhands Yeah. I've wondered if they're string of tears but when I look those up, they're much longer and more narrow than these. It's not like they're not getting enough sun since they're in a west facing window. It's odd. Is there something between string of pearls and string of tears?

Well string of pearls are completely round

6/6/2020 The #string-of-pearls has gotten pretty long lately! Currently just over 18 inches.

12/5/2019 And here's a lovely side view. I moved the #string-of-pearls from a bright light location to a direct sun in a west facing window once I noticed the tear shape. Time will tell but it doesn't seem upset. I'm going to need to hang it soon.

@angiie Kind of but not exactly. When I received them, they were mostly round, though some of them were tear shaped, which I wrote off to maybe where the seller had the plant or something. But as it's been growing in my care, the tear shape has continued. It kind of makes me wonder if it's String of Pearls, String of Beads, or String of Tears or whatever other option there is out there. I have another "String of Pearls" plant which is much more round, though not as shiny as this one.

12/5/2019 This is from this morning. The #string-of-pearls is looking closer to a #string-of-tears and I blame that on clouds and the coming Winter. It's in my brightest window and, aside from looking more tear shaped than pearl shaped, it's growing very nicely.

8/29/2019 I know I'm posting this super late but I wanted to track how this #string-of-pearls has grown. This was from the day I received it and repotted it.
