Took some cuttings from my selfseeded Comfrey. Does anyone know which variety it might be? I know it has white flowers. #comfrey, great for plant food 👌

Comfrey can, in my opinion, be highly invasive. In the garden I work at now it has unfortunately spread into the lawn and we can’t keep it out so just be careful where you decide to plant it, a pot may be best. Spreads by underground rhizomatous roots.

The white form maybe less invasive than the blue or pink ones though

Hi Richard @richard.spicer.7906 mine is the not so invasive, thankfully. Not like my star of Sharon (Aaron's Beard) I wish I never ask my mum for a cutting of that! 😂

That’s good! Not sure which variety it might be but I suspect there isn’t many white forms. This link on the rhs plant finder has all the different types of Comfrey, and might help 👍🏼 https://www.rhs.org.uk/plants/search-results?query=Symphytum
