I'm really into companion gardening but this is the first year I've tried chives to ward aphids off my roses. Just divided a clump from somewhere else in the garden a few weeks ago and they seem to have taken nicely and rewarded me with flowers too!

Does anyone else here do companion gardening? Any top tips to share?

I've heard you can plant nasturtiums near cabbages or brassicas. The attract the white cabbage butterflies away and they lay their eggs on the nasturtiums instead.
Not actually #macro but as good as I can get while it's blowing a gale out there!
