September colour from my poppies! Hello GT'ers! Vaguely checking in to say me, my garden and my school garden are still alive and kicking but the start of term has been bonkers! Rat explosion in the school garden too!

@charlotte I'm so annoyed! Reported it to the site team about 4 weeks ago, they put down a couple of little nipper traps! By last week, just as the kids were back in, not only were there evident holes but they were running around in the greenhouse and science garden! Rat man came in last Friday .... think they're gone now but it means no gardening or pond dipping for the kids for a few more weeks 😡😡

First #poppy of the year! I think is is early too but a very welcome splash of colour in my front borders! All a bit blue and green at the moment!

Took this in the week but haven't had the time to post - this working from home lark is more time consuming than I anticipated! Question .... I don't think I've seen these flowering quite so late. Anyone else got flowers on their poppies?

I always cut it to the ground when it finishes flowering. I get new leaves but have not had flowers. It's been a funny year.

Yes i have 4 yellow flowers on a new plant that emerged from no where in the border

I cut my poppies right back and usually get two flowerings a year but I don't think I've ever had one this late
