@lovestogarden never seen that happen before... If it was grown from seed I can see that happening, but cuttings should bloom the same as the parent 🤔

I think it’s amazing. In the plant world I don’t think there’s an explanation especially if it was from the same branch. The only thing I know is..........”Your Special “. 🤗👍🏻😊💕

@mardel, hello! I have been a busy one. I was down with my parents and since I have come back, I have been trying to catch up here. The weeds grew with gusto while I was gone too. How are you? Have you gotten the desire and ability to get out and play in the dirt? I sure hope you have, it does feel so good. Are you all staying healthy?

Still no doubles. @treefrog44, you commented quote a while ago and I never replied (SO sorry), that was good information. I do want to try another cutting from mother when I get back down there.

I can get you cuttings from #brugmansia-samadhi they are a double bloomer, if you would like to try this variety 😉 seeds too if you want to try and grow some! @lovestogarden

I recall reading that sometimes the offsprings aren’t the same as the mother I believe it’s even more common in doubles but it’s still beautiful and who knows one still might come out as a double or try another propagation from the mother through winter just to see. I think it’s great it got all grown up!!!!👍🏻🤗😊💕
