I have a bonasi like this I need to trim to make leaves grow small.

The leaves on this are already rather small. I actually thought about making it into a bonasi, but fear has me tied up. 😏 @nikkicasas

After I thought this Ficus died, I cut off his head. Now there are some new leaves growing. I am not sure of the ID, but the leaves are much smaller than a regular #ficus #plantid #newgrowth #newleaves #foliage 04/29/2018

Thank you, @Sussanah . The leaves were small on the part I cut off that was dead too. I have another ficus with double the size of leaf. Any idea?

I just moved my Benjamina midnight to full sun as it’s been in a pot for 20+ years. It was used as a privacy screen. Trees have grown enough to move. Now the heat has gone it can acclimatised to sun and pout out bigger leaves. I’ll tag you in a pic when I go downstairs

Sussanah, I use my tree, well, I did, as a privacy screen also. It will return. ❤ @Sussanah

Unknown Ficus benjamina cultivar in Los Angeles with leaves about 1/3 the size of normal, but plant itself not dwarfed. Copied from: https://davesgarden.com/guides/articles/view/2470
