I’m confused 🤷‍♂️ I thought they didn’t like a lot of sun?? I have one and it bloomed a few months ago but someone said they don’t like a lot of sun. Makes sense that they would since they are a cactus. Mines under my grow light cause it’s getting cool here. Where should I keep it. Plzzz help!!!!🤗😊💕

Ok just read the encyclopedia explaining care so o need to get it from under the light it said for it to bloom it need ?? 16-18 hrs.?? Darkness so I’ll let you know I did also get great blooms last year. That’s where it’s going back to that window. Thxs😊💕

@terrimclaughlin, I am no expert here, but I have my best blooms when these get some direct and filtered sun and their feet are warmed. Sounds like she liked your window. A bit of fertilizer always gives a boost too. ❤️ Remember that although they have been given the common name of "Thanksgiving" cactus, they will bloom when they are good and ready. 😁

I can’t think of her name but you also commented on her “white” one that was just blooming with that touch of red. She had just posted it to .Super gorgeous her name starts with a k. I hope u know who I mean. Shelley commented too. I’m going to try to get a couple more those seem to grow good!!😊💕

@KariSamuel , I put the gloves on, then take them off for one reason or another, and, well, then the fingers are dirty. ❤😊 It does feel good to get your hands dirty.

@KariSamuel @lovestogarden. I’m the same way. I just can’t feel when I need to feel the roots or whatever with those gloves on. My hands are so beat up but it’s from years of being in that dirt. I guess we all sort of love it. Thxs for showing me the difference in the blooms of the Xmas and thanksgiving cactus
