Day 12: Succulent/String of Sunday. Here is Pearlie, my #string-of-pearls. They are FINALLY starting to grow again after taking a slight turn for the worse a few months ago. Hopefully I can keep them growing 🤞🏻 #succulent #letgrowin2020 #succulove

I rally like the hanging pot. I have a small space.

Is there any hope my string of pearls/tears can be saved? They were tangled in with the dead. I had to pull them from the grips of the grim reaper y’all. But now I don’t know what to do with these cuttings, if anything can be done. Please help a string wanna be momma out! #succulent911 #succulent-advice #succulent-help #succulent-addict #idontknowwhatimdoing #help #succulent #string-of-pearls #string-of-tears

You could try setting them on a damp, not soaking wet, paper towel until they plump up. It might work the same as water therapy.

I rooted some in a little shot glass with water. It took forever, but it worked.

@ladeebug that’s okay! Sometimes it’s just a trial and error learning process! 😊

@madnessbroken I've had success just by laying them on the dirt, trying to make sure any little nodes are touching the dirt. Keep a little moist, not wet until they root. I've also had failure doing the same thing lol! 😅

Sometimes I use a hair pin or a bamboo cocktail fork to hold securely in soil. 😊
