@malcolmhillen I'm pretty sure it is #Hedgehog Holly or #Ferox Argentea but I think it needs to be pruned a little as I see quite a few leaves that seem to be reverting to the normal type holly with just spines or spikes round the edges. It's very tough & stands a good haircut. It just comes bouncing back.Officially your supposed to prune holy in June/July but with our mild winters it's not so important I've most of my holly trees shaped into pyramids so just trim them when I can.Hope this helps

@angipangi thanks for the pruning advice....I don't tend to prune it as it is in a position for security i.e. to stop anyone hopping over the fence!

@malcomhillen It's difficult to see as pic is not close enough to a leaf for identification. I have a hedgehog holly and if you scroll back on my feed to maybe about 3 weeks ago you'll see a collage of 5 of my hollies. Hedgehog is there and you may be able to identify it. It's distinctive by the smaller than usual holly leaves and has spikes on the top of as well as edges of leaves. More spiky than other hollies. Hope this helps.
