My snake plant was overwatered and kept by my central heater and is has survived. I got this from a neighbor so I'm learning how to take care of it. I tried propagating some of its leaves with no success. #motherinlawstongue #sansevieria #snakeplant #houseplant

@marlynroses I do it by taking cuttings off of a leave laying them down making sure I know we're the top and bottom of the leaf is and letting the cut dry out. I did that for a couple of days but I believe I need to let them callus over for longer. Once that is done I plant the cuttings in soil making sure I plant the the cuttings the way they were growing, bottom down. Hope that makes sense but I haven't had any success propagating cuttings so I might give it one more try.

Never seen them that tall before!
This is what's left of my beautiful snake plant, its leaves got mushy I thought I had the watering down but the soil I replanted it in was that culprit. At least I saved it on time before it completely died on me,I repoted it into better draining soil. #plant-at-work #snakeplant #motherinlawstongue #sansevieria-repotting
