Please can you help me identify this plant? It has self seeded in amongst the Azaleas in the shade of a wild cherry tree, am wondering if it's worth saving and moving? Thankyou!

Looks like Portuguese Laurel. Evergreen and produces little white flowers and dark berries. Commonly used for hedging, but nice grown as a stand-alone shrub too 👍🏼

Thankyou @rachelbrooks much appreciated, nice to get an evergreen shrub for free as garden is a little bare in winter, will move it somewhere it can have space to grow!

Perfect! And this will tolerate almost all soils and all positions too! Very easy shrub! 😊
