Wondering if I’m gonna kill it if I split it

I will leave it in it’s pot @cyndi until it’s done it’s thing... I have 2 pots of them so I will have fun dividing them both in the autumn

@deanno87 yes .. usually one of my first colours out as soon as the sun hits.. had mine for about 3 years now.. I know I’m meant to cut them back at wintertime but I like the fact the smaller birds use it to balance on .. plus I’m scared of killing it off... I like the scent too

I want to re-plant this ... will I kill it as it’s still in bloom? Transfer from pot to the ground .. #advice-salvia

I found them last year as we have a deer problem, turns out deers dont like salvias lol

Colour starting to break through

All I have done to this was a slight trim of dead branches a few weeks ago... not cut many of my perennials this year but a lot have still carried on
