I do lawn maintenence for career. I love all plants both outside and inside plants. I'm very into succulents but am still learning on the care.

I added some Christmas cactus to my Thanksgiving cactus but noticed my Thanksgiving cactus stems are very thin any ideas why this might be happening?

@heatherdirtyhands they probably mislabeled i didn't look closely at the tips to see. It was kinda dark. I had it in a lot of sun then moved her thinking maybe I was burning her. Now wondering if I over or under watered maybe? She also hadn't made roots yet for some reason when I put her in there yet was blooming.

Could just be that you repotted it while it was blooming. Give it some time to catch up with itself

Thank you @crabby58 and @lesliecole49 I'm in the process of moving and having to slowly pick n choose babies to take at a time as I prepare places. I brought her to be sure she's watched and cared for carefully and so no vindictive actions are taken since it's known to be a fav

People who take their anger out on innocent living things are scum. If he doesn't harm your plants, he's not a complete asshole. (If he takes care of them, maybe he's too good for you, ha ha.)

Squirrels likely if no nuts they will eat cacti like no other

Slugs like to eat mine, I just keep them off the ground. Could be a moth worm 🐛 they eat just about anything I see yours is inside. Probably a moth worm. Look through its nodes to see what’s in there

It's on my back porch, you're probably right. When we turn the light on at night it attracts all sorts of moths and other creepy flying bugs @docthrill I've looked and can't find anything but I did treat all plants the other day for precaution because one of my plants showed signs of possible bugs

Repotted her and unsure how she's doing so well when still no roots but I'll take it. Blooms and new growth #thanksgivingcactus-budding
